In this talk, we present a  new numerical scheme for computing
multiphase flows.
It is derived by using the ensemble average technique explained in Drew
and Passman book.
We  show that using very simple and basic assumptions, it is possible
describe all the terms
in the model, except one which is related to the interfacial area
between phases.

Numerical experiments in one and two dimensions will be shown
